Fourth All India Census of MSMEs

The fourth All India Census of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises will be conducted all over the country by the Development Commissioner (MSME), Government of India, through the Directorates of Industries (DIs) of the State Governments and the Union Territory Administrations.  All the enterprises registered with DICs, KVIC/KVIB, Coir Board upto 31-03-2007 and some selected unregistered enterprises will be surveyed.  Besides, all the enterprises registered Under Section 2m(i) or 2m(ii) of the Factory Act 1958 will also be surveyed.  Along with the MSME Census, a survey of First Pharmaceutical Census of India (FPCI) is also being conducted.  The enumerators authorised by the DIs will approach the enterprise for data collection during April-July, 2008.

All the concerned entrepreneurs and Industries Associations are requested to co-operate fully and furnish accurate information to the enumerators.  The information collected in the Fourth Census will be kept confidential and will be used for statistical purposes only.

The entrepreneurs of enterprises permanently registered till 31-03-2007 may report at the following address in case no enumerator has approached the unit for data collection during the above period.
